• GAMEPLAY: The game is a Third Person Shooter (TPS), which the player controls the protagonist from a third-person perspective. Despite being a Survival Horror game, RE4 is all about action and shootouts involving big crowds of enemies in open areas but still features some Horror elements and mechanics. The PC Version also features new modes: First is 'Separate Ways', a minigame which focuses on Ada Wong's backstory and unveils the involvement in Resident Evil 4 and her connection to the series villain Albert Wesker. Another mini-game is also included: 'The Mercenaries' along with new costumes for Leon and Ashley.

• STORY: Six years after the events of Resident Evil 2, The protagonist Leon S. Kennedy is U.S. government special agent who's on a secret mission to rescue Ashley Graham, The kidnapped daughter of the U.S. President's daughter. The game is set in a hidden rural area of Spain. Leon meets new and returning characters as he progresses towards his main mission including the mysterious spy Ada Wong, Luis Sera (a researcher), Jack Krauser and the main villain Osmund Saddler.
